Novalk 915B is a high solids, fast drying 1K or 2K primer.

915B is a white high build primer with great sandability and a fast dry time. 915B is suitable for use as a 1K but can be catalyzed at 5% with hardener. Catalyst adds adhesion, moisture resistance, and blocks tannin with 2 coats.

We are now only stocking the 917B Tannin Blocking version of this primer.

Features:

• Fast drying - can apply 2 coats wet on wet

• Easy to sand
• High solids - 58% ? 2% solids

• 3 hour pot life as a 2K with at 5%
• Apply at 4 mils

Airless: Apply with a at 1700-2200 psi.

HVLP: A minimum 4 or 5 stage HVLP turbine is recommended. Use a 1.8 or 2.0 needle. If needed, reduce 5-10% with warm water.

Note: this primer is currently packaged in US gallon cans with a white label.
