Abatement Technologies VL2002 OEM carbon replacement filter for the PAS2400 portable air scrubber.
Abatement Technologies VL2002 is the OEM's 2nd/3rd-stage vapor-lock pleated particulate carbon filter. The VL2002 air filter has woven activated carbon media to absorb gases and odors.
Abatement Technologies recommends you change the 2nd stage filter every 6 to 9 months under normal operating conditions.
Abatement recommended replacement schedule for the VL2002 carbon filter when being used as a 2nd stage filter, using the filter indicator light to determine needs:
- High Particulate - estimate 72 hours
- Medium Particulate - 3 x/ month
- Low particulate - 1 x/ month or when filter light goes on
Abatement recommended replacement schedule for the VL2002 carbon filter when being used as a 3rd stage filter:
- The method of determining when to replace the activated carbon filter is somewhat subjective. As the odor, vapor, and/or gas filtration capacity decreases, the user will begin to sense a slight odor or taste of the contaminant, indicating that the filter should be replaced.
This package ships with six (6) filters.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
