Novalk 917B is a high solids (58%), fast drying 1K or 2K primer with a tannin blocking additive.
917B is a high build primer with great sandability and a fast dry time. 917B is suitable for use as a 1K but can be used as a 2K for added stain blocking and moisture resistance with 5% water based hardener.
Novalk primer is currently packaged in a US gallon container.

Interior use
3-4 hour pot life as a 2K with at 5% by volume - excess heat can decrease this.

Apply at 4 mils
Airless: Apply with a at 1700-2200 psi.
HVLP: A minimum 4 or 5 stage HVLP turbine is recommended. Use a 1.8 or 2.0 needle. If needed, reduce 5-10% with warm water.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer
Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
